William Latham website

October 20, 2013

William Latham is an important name in the world of digital art. His computer generated Organic Art product will be familiar to many, as the recognisable face of early artforms generated by algorithms.

This website was commissioned to coincide with William Latham’s exhibition “Mutator 1 + 2” at Phoenix Gallery in Brighton, part of the recent Brighton Digital Festival, funded by the Arts Council of Great Britain.

The exhibition was an impressive retrospective of William’s work from the 1970s to the present day. This website, built in WordPress, was designed with a literal timeline containing William’s history, and was also used in Kiosk mode at the gallery itself.

The site continues to grow, as William, and the very helpful Anna White, continue to add content.

PS: You can see the site in all its glory here.
